Additional public transport services in Mežaparks before and after the "Pitbull – I’m Back!" concert on July 29
On Wednesday, July 29, the Mežaparks Grand Stage will host the "Pitbull – I’m Back!" concert. To enable attendees to reach the concert and return to the city center afterwards, additional services will be provided on tram route 11 and bus route 48 in cooperation with the event organizers.
Before the concert, additional services for tram route 11 from the city center will be organized starting at approximately 16:50. Between 16:52 and 17:37, trams departing from the "Merķeļa iela" stop will run at five-minute intervals, while from 17:37 to 20:10 they will run at three- to four-minute intervals, with the final extra service arriving in Mežaparks at 20:37.
Additional services prior to the concert will also be provided on bus route 48. Four additional runs will start at the "Pļavnieku kapi" terminal, and three at the "Pavasara gatve" stop. From 17:44 to approximately 20:30, buses will run at 12- to 25-minute intervals. Bus route 48 will also provide transport from Mežaparks to Pļavnieku kapi after the concert.
Following the conclusion of the concert, from approximately 23:30 to 01:00, additional services for tram route 11 from Mežaparks will be organized according to passenger flow at two- to three-minute intervals. In these additional runs, trams will operate to Stacijas laukums.
We remind passengers that trips must be validated on these services as well.
